The TaG Engines have indisputably dominated the North American karting scene for the past decade. And why wouldn't they? The ease of a push button start, long rebuild intervals, and they are consumer friendly. In Europe, the modern, simple and high performance KF engines are extremely popular. What if we had the best of both worlds? The X125T engine line is a reconfigured KF engine built for the North American racer. The complicated wiring system, expensive ignition, relay and electronic box have all been removed.
Introducing the X125T-MX, bringing TaG racing to the next level. This next-gen TaG engine allows for more power, less vibration, and 15500rpm rev limit with 30hp. The internal water pump has now been replaced with a more reliable external water pump as well as going to a Sellecctra ignition as PVL was ver difficult to acquire. It will be available in junior or as senior configurations, with restriction at the manifold. The ever-popular Tillotson HL334A/HL334AB (23mm) carburetor is be used for JR.1, the Tillotson HW44A carburetor is used for JR.2, JR.3 and Senior while the Tillotson 27mm is used for Heavy/Masters (the Tryton 27mm may be allowed regionally). JUNIOR 1 Configuration (Ages 8 to 11) - Includes 17mm Intake Restrictor (IM111-17) and 22mm Exhaust Header 22mm (P12.2624311). Base Gasket set at 2.5mm total. Spec gearing should be set at 11/78.
JUNIOR 2 Configuration (Ages 10-12) - Includes 19mm Intake Restrictor (IM111-19) and 25mm exhaust header (P12.4183311).
JUNIOR 3 Configuration (Ages 13-16) - No intake restrictor needed, includes 31mm Exhaust Header (P12.4193311).
