TM Engines

TM Engines began in 1976 by two childhood friends from Pesaro Italy, Claudio Flenghi and Francesco BattistelliIt. Both men had a love for motorcycles and racing, and that love soon became a force to be reckoned with when they started their own motorcycle company by the name TM.

In 1977, the men worked with a talented young motocross rider named Gastone Serafini. Together they developed a bike that would go on to achieve competition results of the highest level.

As the years passed, the the bike continued to develop. In 1982 Battistelli decided to leave TM and his place was taken over by Gastone Serafini who, having reached the end of his professional racing career, decided to join Flenghi full time in running the company. TM soon became a leader in both motocross and karting and has continued to dominate the fields in both sports.

TM's philosophy of distinguishing itself by choice of materials, which must always be of the highest quality, and the workmanship, even defined by some as “obsessive” is what makes us proud to represent this line. It also justifies the prices of these jewels of engineering that appeal to a niche market made up of customers with high standards.
